Deconstructing the Cube

Praising the stone as a rich and beautiful material, the work reveals the method of its construction in the upper layers, in which the cutting lines remain visible, while the lower layers have a smooth and polished finish. The work increases the potential of the Portuguese limestone by using new transformation forms, by cutting the stone in sinusoidal waves and joining them to create the voluminous layers of 5 square metres.
